Here's me

I needed a career path that would allow me to write, design, illustrate, style, shoot and edit, all while being surrounded by like minded people.
At 30, I finally stumbled into the world of advertising.

My background spans across multiple creative industries. For about eight years I worked as a photo editor, which culminated in two years at the AFL. Before that, I was the courtroom sketch artist for Channel 9 news, and in my mid 20’s, I was fortunate enough to find myself working in Hollywood on a feature film, which to date remains one of my most cherished experiences. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design at RMIT, I’ve completed a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Screen: Film & Television, a Certificate in Music Production, I graduated in the Top 10 at Award School, and completed Award School Craft as well.

For the past 15 years I’ve developed as an advertising creative, conceiving and creating an expanse of campaigns for a wide variety of clients ranging from universities and luxury car brands, to cement filters and dog treats. I’ve been freelancing for the better part of the last seven years; I enjoy working with different agencies, new clients, and a different mixes of people. I get excited by work that will affect change for the better, be it educational advancement, positive behavioural change, raising awareness for good causes, or driving donations to help others. Equally, I love reinvigorating tired brands and injecting them with personality.

Outside of work, I have a passion for music production, screenwriting, renovating and fashion design. Occasionally, I like to put down the nail gun and circular saw, and hand sew a couture dress from scratch. I’m also working on my first album, albeit very slowly, as well as my first screenplay. So, hopefully… watch this space.
